JOB TITLE: AR SPECIALISTJOB LOCATION: SALT LAKE CITY, UTWAGE RANGE*: 30.00-32.15 PER HOURJOB NUMBER: 23-01216JOB DESCRIPTIONEssential Functions / Key Areas of ResponsibilityPrepare and process daily invoices to customersProcess customer depositsApply cash receiptsReply to customer invoicing questions & requestsReply to vendor questionsAssist in collection activitiesSet up and maintain A/R, A/P files & other financial recordsAssist in month end close activities and government reportingReconcile Accounts Receivables & Accounts PayablesSales & Use tax preparationPrepare and process invoices for payment of goods and servicesProcess supplier payments via wire, ACH, and checkApprove employee expense reportsOther tasks as assigned by Financial ControllerMinimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, LanguageBachelor's degree in related field with 1+ years of experience OR Associates degree in Accounting or related field with 3+ years of accounting work experience OR High School diploma with 6+ years of accounting related work experience3-5 years in a billing/AR/AP business environmentExcellent organizational skills and work ethicEffective oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projectsExcel skillsBS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred - AA is requiredEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled* While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
