Account Executive -About Us:Every year, 39 million used cars are sold in the U.S. alone. If you've ever tried to sell your car privately, you've probably had a few no-shows, a few people test drive, several low-ball offers, and maybe finally accepted an offer that you weren't totally satisfied with. Or maybe you went to trade-in or sell to a dealership that is well known for making fair offers, but depending on how much that dealer needs your vehicle that day, another dealer may have paid you thousands more. -Gauge is revolutionizing this process by creating an auction for dealers to purchase vehicles directly from consumers, bringing transparency and efficiency to both sides of the market. Dealers can acquire the inventory they need directly from consumers, and consumers can ensure that they're getting the highest price for their vehicle by getting offers from all interested buyers at the same time.Why Work Here:Now that our model has been proven to get consumers more for their vehicle, it is an exciting time to be in sales at Gauge as we focus on growth. Base Salary: $50,000OTE: $98,000Unlimited PTO and Paid Holidays100% Employer Paid Medical plan optionsDental and Vision providedStock OptionsClear Promotion PathsTeam EventsFree Snacks -Job Summary:In this role, you will be contacting private sellers whose vehicles we've inspected. It will be your job to educate them on current market trends, while also finding them the best deal and closing the deal to purchase the vehicle. You will be responsible for making the sale go smoothly and being an evangelist for Gauge's process. Because the market is ever-changing, you will be required to be swift in your negotiations and have a do-whatever-it-takes mentality, in a fast paced environment. -Job Duties:
Receive warm inbound leads from our SDR and Inspector teamsDiscussing offers with the seller and purchasing their vehicleCommunicating with sellers through inbound and outbound channels to effectively sell them on and persuade them to work with GaugeEstablish, nurture, and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate future salesLeverage team and feedback to consistently improve and help our customersClearly document all calls, interactions and pertinent detailsCommunicating with all levels of the organizationPerform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred2+ years of experience in inside sales, success management, or equivalent requiredExperience in the automotive industry is an assetAvailable to work Saturdays (with a comp day during the week) -Skills
