Job Title : Event Assistant
Pay: $15.75/ Hour, Part Time
Schedule : Various hours including weekends, nights & holidays
Department: Events
Reports to: - Events Operations Manager -
The Leonardo is looking for an Event Assistant to join our team and mission. This person will create an excellent client experience and be a go-to problem solver.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in customer service, and interactions with the public, and is able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions .

  -Responsibilities :
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Sets up and tears down all events according to banquet event orders and event floor plans.
    
    
  • 
    Make sure A/V equipment is properly handled and maintained and alert the Facilities Manager if anything is damaged or if additional supplies are needed.
    
    
  • 
    Attend and participate in workshops, training sessions, and other meetings.
    
    
  • 
    Monitor coat check, provide door guidance and ID scanning. -
    
    
  • 
    Other duties as needed.
    
    
    Requirements
    
    • 
      
    • 
      High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
      
      
    • 
      Food handlers permit.
      
      
    • 
      Alcohol service certification. -
      
      
    • 
      Previous event experience is preferred but not required.
