Job Summary:
The David Eccles School of Business Office of Alumni Relations and Development seeks a
creative, driven, self-starter to support the work being done to steward and engage donors of
the Eccles School. This position will report to the Manager, Donor Relations & Stewardship.
The Donor Relations & Stewardship Specialist will assist in the execution of the Eccles School's
stewardship programs, which are designed to ensure that donors are properly engaged,
supported, and informed in all aspects of donor relations including: events, recognition,
opportunities to mentor and engage with students, and reporting on the use of donor funds.
The goal of these efforts is to cultivate the long-term loyalty and commitment of donors.
The David Eccles School of Business is dedicated to giving our students a premier education

services that help students navigate their path, including the professional and community-based
opportunities necessary to succeed. The Office of Alumni Relations and Development is
responsible for all alumni and donor engagement and communications, as well as all fundraising
for scholarships, capital campaigns, academic programs, and student services at the Eccles
School.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and execution of the donor relations plan and execution of
stewardship activities.
- Execute 1st time donor recognition.
- Create monthly newsletters and other broad donor communications.
- Collaborate with annual giving team to plan and execute stewardship on giving
campaigns, including but not limited to 1917-Minute Challenge, U Giving Day, and mini
giving campaigns.
- Assist in the planning and execution of donor engagement events.
- Collaborate with marketing & communications team to ensure all stewardship
communications reflect the brand of the Eccles School and serve the overall
communications strategy of the Office of Alumni Relations and Development.
- Support the fundraising pipeline by making qualification phone calls to prospective
major donors.
- Support fundraisers & collaborate with marketing and communications team in the
creation of fundraising collateral and impact reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, alumni, and students.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or a related area (1-year of education can be substituted for 2-years of relevant work experience)
