The David Eccles School of Business is seeking qualified applicants for a Career Center Coordinator with the Full-Time--MBA--Program. This individual will manage all operational components of career services and event management. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, and be able to multitask and meet multiple deadlines. Candidate must demonstrate initiative as well as project or event management skills, possess an entrepreneurial orientation, and have a proven track record of results-oriented achievement. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. The candidate must have strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population of high-performing individuals.University of Utah Job ID# PRN21839B- ------------00033 - Executive EducationCOMPENSATION: $31,600 to $58,400WORK SCHEDULE: M-F and occasional evenings or weekends, some travel required RESPONSIBILITIES: Soft Skills: --- Outstanding communication abilities --- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details --- Team player with leadership skills --- Ability to multitask and switch gears quickly --- Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality --- Experienced in problem solving --- Strong time management as well as the ability to prioritize tasks --- Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills Hard Skills: --- Strong experience in Microsoft Suite (advanced Excel skills a plus) --- Familiar with--CRM--software and database management --- Comfortable with technology platforms such as Slack, Salesforce, QualtricsCareer Management Operational Responsibilities: --- Manage--CRM--systems to create and track students, events, and employment activity --- Produce well written, targeted emails to students to attract engagement --- Oversee the planning, organizing and execution of local and national career conferences, networking, and employer events --- Manage and execute student and staff travel and track all reimbursement paperwork --- Interface with--MBA--students on a daily basis --- Perform data entry and report generation --- Manage accounting and budget reconciliation paperwork --- Oversee on-campus interview events --- Manage team calendars and produce reconciliation reports --- Act as teaching assistant for--MBA--Career Courses --- Manage email campaigns for students and employer PR --- Other duties and departmental projects as assigned --- Recommend and, when authorized, implement new ideas to achieve program goals and objectivesEvent Management and Logistics: --- Visualize an event from beginning to end and execute event details --- Skilled in project management --- Skilled problem-solver --- Recommend suggestions to enhance the event's success --- Create and manage budgets and ensure adherence --- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers and manage all aspects of the vendor relationship (including catering) --- Coordinate and execute all operations --- Lead promotional activities for the event --- Manage events in real time and resolve any problems that might occur *This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. PREFERENCES:Bachelor's degree or in business, communications, or human resources; ability to travel; commitment to providing top-level customer service; strong business acumen; excellent verbal and written communication skills, autonomous in getting things done, ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong coordination, collaboration, and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Detail-oriented candidate must also demonstrate initiative, possess an entrepreneurial orientation, and have a proven track record of results-oriented achievement.The ideal candidate will also have: --- 3+ years of post-college project/event management experience, preferably in a corporate setting. --- Experience with Salesforce or--CRM--software, advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills a plus.
