DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time PATIENT CARE TECH OR C.N.A. FULL TIME - DAYS 3 - 12 HOUR SHIFTS PER WEEK 7 A.M. - 7 P.M. POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistance assists in basic patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and general supervision of the staff nurse. The CNA is responsible for the care appropriate to the ages of the patients served-including adolescent, adult and geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpretinformation in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups. _We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Experience: Previous CNA or unit secretary experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology. Certification/licensure:Current Nursing Assistant certification preferred.American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
