CDL A Company Drivers

Why Strait-Oil?

Strait Pay

• Pay range (44-50 cents) DOE (Years of experience, Reefer experience, Safety record)
  
• Paid on routed odometer miles
  
• Pick/drop pay: Additional picks or drops are any additional stops past the initial pick up and initial delivery location. If a driver is required to do multiple stops, they will be compensated $25.00 per stop.
  
• Lay Over Pay: If a driver is forced to sit for 24 hours due to circumstances out of their control, they will be paid 150.00/day.
  
• Cash Advances: Drivers can pull $200.00 weekly as a cash advance. Any receipts provided showing the advance was used for a work-related reimbursable expense will be reimbursed on the following payroll. Reimbursable expenses include but are not limited to lumper fees, unload fees, maintenance items, and other items approved by management.
  
• Orientation: Drivers are bonused $100.00 for completing orientation. Management will arrange travel and housing accommodations for new hires.
  Strait Bonuses
  
  • Productivity Bonus: $0.01 per mile paid the following month
    
    • Productivity factors will be:
      
    • Excessive non-required DOT breaks
      
    • Taking longer than DOT required break time
      
    • Missing appointments due to own choices
      
    • Missing or non-scanned in paperwork
    • Safety Bonus: $0.01 per mile paid quarterly.
      
      • Cost of repairs for damages driver is deemed at fault for will be taken out of the bonus until the costs are recouped (limit of $2500.00)
        
      • Any ticket cost will be recouped via the bonus also.
      • Inspection Bonus: Pay $50.00 per clean DOT inspection.
        
      • Referral Bonus: if you refer a qualified driver and we can hire him or her, you will earn $500 bonus paid in four $125.00 increments; after first dispatch, 60 days, 120 days and 180 days. There is no limit on the number of referrals.
        Hiring Requirements:
        
        • CDL A Holder
          
        • Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in tractor trailer
          
        • 23 years of age
          
        • Must pass all pre-employment testing including but not limited to:
          
        • Must have a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
          
        • Must pass a pre-hire Department of Transportation (DOT) substance screening.
