We are looking for a Logistics Manager to provide leadership and oversight for the scheduling and credentialing processes. This position provides a critical link between the partnership specialists and schedulers to ensure placement of learners in facilities to complete preceptorship hours.Responsibilities:The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring and providing office support and exercising administrative duties such as providing oversight of learner placement, SOFE site scheduling, faculty assignment, schedule dissemination, credentialing, and learner preceptor placements. Serves as primary contact person for information, problem solving, and process management; assures adequate staffing of Operations Coordinators.Realistic Job Preview:The Logistics Manager will oversee the performance of Operations Coordinators for scheduling, credentialing, and placement of learners at partner sites for preceptorships. Communication will occur daily with the operations function to the Logistics Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Operations. It is expected that the Logistics Manager attends and contributes to the NES Council.Desired Outcomes:NES will have comprehensive and streamlined management of the operations function and learners will be fully supported in preparing for and attending experiential learning activities (ELAs). Learners will receive sufficient support to obtain full credentialing compliance prior to established deadlines. Learners will be scheduled each semester for ELAs to fulfill academic and accreditation standards. All learners in BSN 395 will be assigned and successfully complete 120 hours of preceptorship.Requirements at Hire:

  • 5 years of experience with Collegiate and Facility Partnerships
  • Bachelor's degree in health or social sciences preferred
  • Prior scheduling and credentialing experience, strongly preferred
  • Partnership building in healthcare industry, preferred
  • Knowledge of Healthcare systems and operations in a variety of client care settings, i.e. acute, SNF, rehabilitation, ambulatory, community, home health, etc.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory environment dynamics in healthcare and education desired
  • Superb communication and people skills
  • Ability to operate with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team, on multiple projects, within an environment that can be fast paced
  • Efficient in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointThis position is required to attend new employee orientation in person in Salt Lake City, Utah from January 10th through the 14th.
