Resource Innovations is seeking a skilled Jr. Software Developer on a contract to hire basis to help us build an internal CRM and Customer Interaction tool for the Business Process department in Utility Services and Rebate Processing group in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. An opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment; We need a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, as well as working on applications or integrations from the backend to the frontend.

RI's Business Processing Technology team's goal is to increase the efficiency, speed, and quality of business processing while providing an exceptional customer experience. We work to configure and maintain internal and client instances, which is used by Data Specialists to process and provide a front end for consumers to submit forms. We support all ancillary systems that are used by the Business Processing group.

Duties And Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve applications and software
Capable of working effectively in an agile environment
Strong desire to learn and improve the development of enterprise-scale applications
Translates product/project requirements into clean, efficient code
Actively participates in road mapping and daily stand-ups
Maintain infrastructure security and software updates for all supported technologies
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum of two (2) years experience working with web development
Proficiency in PHP, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL and related frameworks
Familiarity with Version Control Systems such as Git or Subversion
Experience working with XML/JSON data models and integration with/creation of REST APIs
Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex problems quickly and accurately
Strong documentation writing skills
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience with 4+ years of code management and deployment processes, procedures, and tools
Linux system administration and networking
Experience using scalable cloud infrastructures, cloud security (GCP,AWS)
Strong understanding of automation processes and procedures for build and release processes/DevOps key concepts (CI/CD, IaC)
Project/product management experience is a significant plus
