This position will be located in Roy and will support the Sentinel - Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You'll Get To Do: Performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electromechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Drafts detailed drawings for fabrication. Devices, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed belowYou'll Bring These Qualifications: Mechanical Technician 3 - Possess technical training equivalent or a minimum of 4 years' related experience as a Mechanical or Manufacturing technician or equivalent.- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)- Hands-on knowledge and experience with the use of a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment- Technical knowledge in manufacturing operations and procedures as it pertains to mechanical assembly, harnessing, and soldering with a high attention to detail. Mechanical Technician 4 - Possess technical training equivalent or a minimum of 6 years' related experience as a Mechanical or Manufacturing technician or equivalent.- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)- Hands-on knowledge and experience with the use of a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment- Technical knowledge in manufacturing operations and procedures as it pertains to mechanical assembly, harnessing, and soldering with a high attention to detail.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power point are required.- Familiarity with Engineering, and Assembly.- Hands-on knowledge and experience with the use of a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment.- Ability to read, interpret, and execute work to mechanical assembly drawings, wire lists and BOM's.- Demonstrate technical knowledge in manufacturing operations and procedures as it pertains to mechanical assembly, harnessing, and soldering with a high attention to detail.- Technical competence and understanding of engineering design concepts with minimal oversight.- Understanding of industry standard shop practices, Hazardous Material Handling, Hazardous - Operations protocols, and related operational protocols.- Ability to support and maintain work areas up to company ESD, FOD and 5S standards.#GBSDintandtestSalary Range: $51,300 USD - $101,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
