Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer /
Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Strategic Deterrence
Systems Division (SDS). This position can be filled in Roy, UT, or
Huntsville, AL and supports the Advanced Programs Team. Final
position offered will be based on candidate level of
experience.
What You'll Get To Do:
The selected candidate for this role will be part of the team
supporting the maturation of concepts for advanced weapons systems
and upgrades to existing systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
---Contribute to the electrical design of various projects within
Advanced Programs
---Perform trade studies of varying magnitude
---Assist team members in system and subsystem-level testing
---Work within a team to mature technological capabilities and
develop prototype designs

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive
relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
---Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of
experience; 0 years with Master's Degree
Principal Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of
experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; 0 years with PhD
---Experience with one or more of the following:
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
---Exposure to embedded system hardware and software designs.
---Experience using PLM/PDM and MRP Systems (Team Center, SAP).
---Experience with problem-solving skills to rapidly address issues
identified during production and installation.
---Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on
complex projects.
---Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle
projects from project inception through system sustainment
---Current DoD Secret clearance granted or re-investigated within
last 6 years
Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
