We are looking for Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) II's for our 16-Bed Residential Clinic for youth and adolescents in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Hiring for all shifts: part time, full time, PRN/Pool.

Flexible Schedules, Shift Differential for weekend and night shifts, and increased mileage packages, are all offered.

The BHT II will provide quality, clinically safe, and meaningful treatment services, to children served, to enhance and enrich everyday lives. Services are provided within a home setting; day programs, school related programs and in the community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered a qualified behavioral health technician, a person must have one of the following combinations of education/experience:

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of full-time direct care experience in behavioral health.
Any combination of education/direct behavioral health exp. totaling 5 years is acceptable. Ex: Bachelor's degree in behavioral health related field and one (1) year of experience.
Must complete training and demonstrate competence in Integrated Care skills.
Must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and any other required background checks, to include meeting Copa's driver authorization requirements, pre-employment drug screening, and satisfactory work records determined by People 1st.

JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to)

Ensure the wellbeing of children served and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
As a driving position, you may provide or arrange for transportation, as appropriate and determined by the care team. And provide services in the community, as needed.
Completes documentation of services and meets member engagement levels according to the standards of Copa Health.
Develops, maintains, and manages the Integrated Service Plan (ISP) in a timely manner.
Assist, teach, coach, and mentor children served in skills of daily living to include: housekeeping, personal hygiene and grooming, and community activities.
Provide consistent monitoring of children's activities & behaviors during scheduled shift.
Engage children served in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
Ensure the daily completion of goals identified in the Treatment Plan or Behavior Plan.
Assist in the planning and preparation of menus consisting of well-balanced meals and meeting applicable diet needs as required.
Participate in consultations and Child & Family Team (CFT) meetings with service providers to discuss care plans and service needs of children served.
Maintain billable hourly requirements as assigned.
Complete and maintain required documentation, to include billable hour requirements. Assist with follow up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the home.
Demonstrate intermediate computer skills including the ability to input all required data.
Maintain compliance as it relates to RELIAS, TB, CPR/First Aid, Fingerprints, & Crisis Intervention Training.
To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department, consistent with Copa Health
