Grave Shift Dispatcher

$19.00 per hour

Benefits included

Shift: 11pm-7am Full Time

Our airport property is looking for a Dispatcher that can take the Diamond product to the next level. Being the best means we must hire the best. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following, as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

- Working with the public.

- Promptly answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls as needed.

- Greet and assist guests with any needs.

- Monitor the perimeter of the parking facility at the beginning and the end of each shift. Report any issues.

- Monitor the parking areas and Dispatch shuttles as needed to accommodate guests.

- Safely operate guest's vehicles as needed.

- Review all information passed down from the previous shift.

- Complete the end of day paperwork and email reports as required.

- Record and pass on any information needed to the oncoming shift.

- Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, subordinates, co-workers, and managers.

- Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance. While on the job, wear the designated uniform.

- Maintain punctual and regular attendance according to schedule work time, taking rests breaks, meal breaks and accurately recording time according to payroll guidelines.

- Inspect and sign off on driver's shuttles at the beginning and end of shift for damage, such as dents, scratches, broken lights, windows etc. Report any issues.

- Dispatchers have the availability to take shuttles out of service if deemed unsafe to operate.

- Operate radio or similar device to communicate with drivers or other vehicles within fleet.

- Attend required monthly Safety Meetings.

- *NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE ON DUTY*

Qualifications:

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Must be willing to submit to a drug and background check.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

- Must have state-issued driver's license and proof of insurance card. (Must be able pass a company driving skills test.)

- One year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must be able to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

- Able to effectively communicate in one-one small group situations. Must be able to use simple mathematical skills.

- Reasoning ability: able to apply common sense when performing duties and following written and oral instructions.

- Work Environment: Employee will be in an office environment and will be subject to sitting for extended periods of time and will be using a computer, phone, and radio equipment to communicate with the drivers.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
