Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Major Maintenance Vehicles Team Program Manager 3. This position will be located in either Roy, UT with occasional travel to supplier locations. Learn more about the Sentinel program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and coordinates with a supplier team composed of engineers, production, quality and procurement personnel
Leads solicitations for proposals, review of proposals, and supports supplier negotiations
Defines and manages cost and schedule targets to achieve program and business objectives
Ensure suppliers are within budget and staying on schedule
Work with program business management and contracts to deliver required reporting to the customer
Deliver variance reporting on supplier cost accounts
Ensures accurate Estimates at Complete (EACs) and material receipt forecasts
Develop and track risks and opportunities and manages mitigation plans
Monitors daily supplier operations and actively assists/provides in-scope, technical direction to suppliers as required
Coordinates/leads supplier design, manufacturing, and program reviews, including the necessary levels of Northrop Grumman Space Sector (NGSP) participation
Ensures supplier compliance with all elements of the SOW and subcontract
Ensures recovery plans are put in place for any / all erosion to schedule milestones

- Employee Discounts These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 10 years of related program/supplier management experience, or a Masters Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of experience.
3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP Preferred Qualifications: Must be able to analyze, comprehend, clearly communicate and help resolve technical, cost and schedule issues
Experience managing suppliers or leading a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) / demonstrated team leadership
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Masters in technical, manufacturing, supply chain or business field
Experience with & robust knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
" Salary Range: $147,700 USD - $221,500 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
