Services is seeking a Software Development Analyst (CAD design);
this position may be located at one of the following three Northrop
Grumman facility sites: Roy, Utah, Redondo Beach, California or
Rancho Carmel, California. Roles and responsibilities will include,
but not be limited to, the following: Administering CAD and CAD
Model Management Systems.
Providing end-user technical support of CAD software including in
development and production environments.
Performing root cause analysis, debugging problems within the CAD
environment, and working with the appropriate technical teams to
develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
Monitoring, addressing, and resolving production CAD environment
incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages,
etc., collaboratively with other support teams.
Documenting all aspects of system support so that knowledge is
readily shared among all those tasked with supporting CAD
Supporting SIT and UAT with business users as necessary.
Supporting business readiness and change management activities
prior to go-live and in production. This position may be filled at
the Analyst or Principal Analyst level, depending on the years of
experience the candidate brings. Basic Qualifications for the
Analyst (level 2) Role: Associate's degree with 5 years of
experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or
Master's degree with 0 years of experience; a High School diploma
or equivalent with 8 years of experience may be considered in lieu
of a completed degree.
2 years minimum CAD support experience with CATIA or other 3D CAD
applications with similar functions and capabilities. Basic
Qualifications for the Principal Analyst (level 3) Role:
Associate's degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree
with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3years of
experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 10 years of
experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
5 years minimum CAD support experience with CATIA or other 3D CAD
applications with similar functions and capabilities. Remaining
Qualifications for Both Levels: Proven track record supporting
major CAD software in an enterprise environment.
Experience with CAD support and incident resolution.
US Citizenship is required as well as the ability to obtain and
maintain a DoD Secret security clearance following hire.
Ability to obtain a Security+CE certification within 6 months of
hire date (this time frame may be accelerated based on customer
and/or program requirements); the ability to maintain the required
certification will be a condition of continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Secret Clearance is a
Familiarity with the functions, processes, and capabilities in
native CAD applications and Data Management.
Experience supporting CAD in Windows and Linux environments.
Fluency in at least one computer programming language.
Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to
make recommendations for improvements and provide information and
assistance to end-users.
Experience with AWS Cloud. Salary Range: $71,000 USD - $106,700
Salary Range 2: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
