Position Summary:The Manufacturing Estimator will gather and analyze project data to estimate and allocate costs for custom manufactured crane and material handling products.
Responsibilities: - Meets and collaborates with Sales, Project Managers, and other staff to understand the crane being developed - Analysis of requirement documents, specifications, blueprints and project plans - Draft material and cost estimate for crane projects based on data analysis and research - Prepares reports forecasting production scenarios; makes recommendations based on findings - Identifies the pricing structure required for products to sell at profit - Prepare cost analysis using bid data - Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities - Industrial experience required - Project-specific estimating experience required - Ability to read and interpret technical documents - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - CAD experience helpful - Overhead crane experience required
Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree in related field

Schedule:This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
