Job Description:

*Production Operator*Our team in *Salt Lake City* currently has an opening for a *Production Operator**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES** Prior to unloading and/or bagging product, review all paperwork to ensure that the product being unloaded or loaded matches the documentation.* Inspect all packaging materials inside and out prior to filling.* Obtain laboratory approval for all raw materials delivered to the plant prior to packaging product.* Ensure that applicable products meet all quality standards and have been approved by the lab prior to packaging.* Properly mark, label and fill bags, supersacks and packages in accordance with Brenntag's Standard Operating Procedures.* Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.* Perform dry blending operator duties as needed.* Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the facility* Observe, follow and enforce all Brenntag Policies and Procedures.* Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work.* Other responsibilities as assigned.* This job has no supervisory responsibilities.*YOUR PROFILE**Education and Experience: ** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Forklift certification required.* Possess knowledge to operate scales, conveyor belts and bagging unit.* Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator.
