Space Systems is seeking a Staff Circuit Design Engineer to join
the Flight Systems Team. This position is located in Roy, UT and
supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.What
You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will provide technical
oversight and leadership for all electrical design activities for
the Guidance Computer (GC). The GC is a high reliability, radiation
hardened flight controller for the GBSD Aerospace Vehicle (AVE).
The GBSD Guidance Computer contains digital processing, digital
I/O, and analog actuator/power I/O electronics functions. The
selected individual will be responsible for all aspects of the
Guidance Computer electrical design. The scope spans requirements
derivation, design, development, analysis, verification, and
production of hardware, plus laboratory and test lab support. The
engineer will work with a subcontractor providing processing
hardware and will lead a team of electrical designers performing
detailed board, FPGA, ASIC, and test set designs. This position
reports directly to the Guidance Computer IPT manager.As a

schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday
off.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in
a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and
minimum 14 years of experience; 12 years with Master's Degree; 9
years with PhDExperience leading a multidisciplinary electronic
design teamExperience designing, implementing, and verifying unit
level electronic hardwareExperience working cooperatively with
professionals representing multiple engineering and non-engineering
disciplinesExperience preparing for and participating in design
reviewsExperience designing electronics hardware for Radiation
Hardened Space Flight applicationsExperience designing and testing
to compliance standards such as SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-461Earned Value
and/or Cost Account Management (CAM) experienceMust have U.S.
Citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret level ClearanceThese
Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Experience participating in or
leading a subcontract management teamExperience identifying unit
level requirements and associated derivation/flow down of
requirements to internal unit subassembliesExperience working with
subcontractorsExperience working with and transitioning hardware
designs into the manufacturing and production environmentExperience
developing and/or performing verification and/or test plans and
proceduresExperience with DOORS requirements management
toolExcellent communication skills - verbal, written, and
presentation
Salary Range: $134,700 USD - $202,100 USDEmployees may be eligible
for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses
are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
