Please note, this position is located at Solitude Mountain Resort in Solitude, UT\n Year Round JOB TITLE:------Building Maintenance Tech---(village) REPORTS TO:---Lodging Maintenance Manager CLASSIFICATION:---Full-Time/Year-Round/Hourly PURPOSE OF POSITION:------The Building Maintenance staff member supports the Lodging Maintenance Manager in all of their duties. This position is responsible for taking care of all Condo rental units, pools and hot tubs, and the Inn at Soltiude including all general maintenance that arises on a daily basis, as well as larger projects that arise throughout the year. This position's main emphasis is to keep The Inn at Solitude, Solitude Resort Lodging rental units, and the resorts pools and hot tubs in good shape while assisting other departments when requested or needed. --- SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:--- - Knowledge of pool and hot tub maintenance (we will train on the job, no certification necessary) - Painting, sheetrock, and texturing skills - Tile and grout repair skills - Basic electrical skills - Basic plumbing skills - Knowledge of landscaping & irrigation systems - Boiler and water heater knowledge - General mechanical skills and knowledge - A positive attitude and willingness to learn as you solve new and unique problems everyday --- JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Check on pools and hot tubs at Club Solitude and the Inn, adjust chemicals, clean, and make repairs as needed - Communicate effectively with the lodging and maintenance teams to ensure projects are being completed and billed correctly and in a timely manner. - Test and troubleshoot issues with appliances including ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, and laundry machines. - Repair and maintain propane fireplace units in condo's - Check on boilers and air movers and make repairs as needed - Complete work orders for Solitude Resort Lodging rental units and the Inn - Inspect buildings and complete general building maintenance and repairs as needed - Inspect, maintain, and repair outside building appearances (i.e. roofing, gutters, painting, landscaping, etc.) - Complete projects as requested by Home Owners - Complete projects as requested by Solitude Management - Prepare and complete punch lists for Home Owners and the Inn to ensure that rental units are kept in satisfactory condition - Repair paver walkways throughout the village - Assist other departments when needed and as requested - Assist with village snow removal as necessary - Keep accurate records of time and materials used on projects THE BENEFITS AND PERKS At Solitude Mountain Resort, we offer a variety of employee benefits!
