This position will be responsible for the process flow surrounding quality inspection on life saving medical devices utilized during surgical procedures.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

• Experience working in a medical device industry and inspecting components with complex design features
• Read and interpret part drawings/blueprints to identify features to be inspected. Select appropriate measurement tools for the characteristic and tolerances given. Understand and apply GD&T principles (preferred)
• Proficiency using standard inspection tools: Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage, Pin Gages, Sine Plates
• Coordinate Measuring Machines, Optical Comparators
• Create automated inspection programs on Coordinate Measuring Machines and Optical Comparators
• Knowledge of an ERP system for transacting receiving and in-process inspections
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical writing
• Create test protocols and reports
• Prepare documents and forms to support Engineering Change Order creation and approval
• Draft changes to inspection instructions
• Hands on experience with executing Validation protocols in accordance with approved test scripts
  Recent college graduates with a degree in a Life Science related field are also encouraged to apply.
