Job Description:

Working in hotel maintenance, you are responsible for keeping the hotel maintained and fixing any errors that are needed. Included but not limited to repairing holes in walls, changing settings on cooling and heating equipment, putting new -light bulbs -in the hotel's outdoor lamps, and performing general cleaning tasks inside and outside the hotel's building. Other hotel maintenance duties and responsibilities include repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues, plumbing issues, and maintaining the pool/spa. You can expect physically demanding work that includes using tools and equipment and moving around much of the day, including having to climb ladders, lift heavy items, and crawl in tight spaces when necessary.

You'll also conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. If you have a passion for fixing things, we want you to bring your experience to our team. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
Manage other maintenance requests as required
Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs

--- Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgement
--- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment
--- Program TV's and perform general -housekeeping -and engineering-related -inventory -duties
--- To be available for any -emergencies -and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency
--- Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information
--- Maintaining pool/spa

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
2+ years of maintenance experience
Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
