This position is in Roy, UT supporting the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level offered will be based on candidate experience.What You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines to engineer design solutions to challenging problems through the development of Product Definition Packages (PDP). PDPs consists of 2D drawings and 3D models (NX), various design analyses/assessments (structural/thermal), bill of materials and parts lists (Siemens Capital and Xpedition), and requirements (DOORS). Candidate must be able to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Support the PDP lead in designing electrical equipment, components, products, and systems.Drive the design and development of the electrical portion of the System Integration owned the PDPsImplement program processes and engineering board approval processes for developed PDPsDeliver required PDPs on time to meet program objectivesIntegrate System Integration PDPs with the various element teams to proactively eliminate disconnects and design clashesIdentify gaps and holes within the design and/or requirements and provide a path froward for resolution that is cost effective, innovative, and has minimal impact to others while filling the gap/holeEnsure the developed PDPs meet the design requirements from the various element/configured item specificationsDetermine technical solution in accordance with product specifications and recommend actions to representatives for coordinated product solutionSupport digital transformation initiatives relating to PDP development and releaseAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80.
