Space Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Principal
Electrical Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Deployment Team.
This position is in Roy, UT supporting the Ground Based Strategic
Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level offered will be based
on candidate experience.What You'll Get To Do:The selected
candidate will work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, customers,
and other technical disciplines to engineer design solutions to
challenging problems through the development of Product Definition
Packages (PDP). PDPs consists of 2D drawings and 3D models (NX),
various design analyses/assessments (structural/thermal), bill of
materials and parts lists (Siemens Capital and Xpedition), and
requirements (DOORS). Candidate must be able to work independently,
function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing
direction. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the
following:Support the PDP lead in designing electrical equipment,
components, products, and systems.Drive the design and development
of the electrical portion of the System Integration owned the
PDPsImplement program processes and engineering board approval
processes for developed PDPsDeliver required PDPs on time to meet
program objectivesIntegrate System Integration PDPs with the
various element teams to proactively eliminate disconnects and
design clashesIdentify gaps and holes within the design and/or
requirements and provide a path froward for resolution that is cost
effective, innovative, and has minimal impact to others while
filling the gap/holeEnsure the developed PDPs meet the design
requirements from the various element/configured item
specificationsDetermine technical solution in accordance with
product specifications and recommend actions to representatives for
coordinated product solutionSupport digital transformation
initiatives relating to PDP development and releaseAs a full-time

These Qualifications:Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years
of experience; 0 years with Master's DegreePrincipal Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of experience; 3 years
with Master's Degree; 0 years with PhDAbility to work closely with
multiple functional organizations (Engineering, Manufacturing,
Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.).US citizenship with ability to
obtain DoD Secret clearance and Program Special Access clearanceOne
or more of the following qualifications:1 year of proven experience
reading and interpreting technical drawings1 year experience with
design and fabrication techniques for structural details,
assemblies, and installations1 year of proven knowledge of design
tools including TeamCenter/NX or similarKnowledge of specifications
and processes as they relate to engineering model-based definition1
year of experience with cable routing within 3D model space using
Siemens Capital or other cable harness design tool suites1 year of
experience of product development lifecycle1 year of experience
with the ASME Y14.x suite of engineering drawing standards1 year of
experience in creating a PDP or PDP like product, including
development and release processThese Qualifications Would be Nice
to Have:ICBM ExperienceExperience with systems engineering
principles and processes, preferably using Model-Based Systems
Engineering (MBSE)Strong oral and written communication skills,
including demonstrated experience with high value customer

Range: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USDSalary Range 2: $90,400 USD -
$135,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
