Job Description:

The Judge Group is currently in search of a Plant Manager for a manufacturing facility in Nevada. .Responsibilities:Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products orderedLeads Managers and Team Members in a fast paced manufacturing environmentUtilizes assigned resources to maximize manufacturing output, minimize waste/downtime, improve capacity and efficiencies and maintain product quality and integrityConsults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of productsConfers with Purchasing and Receiving to ensure raw material testing and usage are done.Assists with Quality Control programs to safeguard product quality Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with company standardsCoordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipmentReviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product formulations, and operating or production problemsResponsible for recommending any improvement in methods, processes, systems, and equipment.Requirements:BS/BA degree required; engineering degree is a plus.Strong experience within a manufacturing environment requiredFormalized CI training and responsibility strongly preferred4+ years' of operations/plant management experience.4+ years' full P and L management experienceSolid experience leading continuous improvement projectsExcellent team building experience
