BioMerieux is looking for Instrument Repair Technicians and Trainees to work with our cutting-edge medical device and help save lives! As an Instrument Repair Technician, you will troubleshoot medical devices and implement solutions to address failures and customer complaints. You will also provide technical support for a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical devices and support equipment.As an Instrument Repair Technician, you will need knowledge of hand tools, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and use good judgement and time-management skills to complete assigned tasks.Learn more about the amazing device you will be supporting through the following link:Benefits$600 signing bonus.$300 on your first paycheck and an additional $300 after 6 months of employment.Highly flexible schedules with every other Friday off.   • High School Diploma or GED with related on-the-job technical training and/or certifications.
  • Associates degree is strongly preferred.Experience
    • 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repair in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, computer, automotive, etc.Instrument Repair Technician TraineeTraining and Education
      • High School Diploma or GED. We will provide you with training to become an Instrument Repair Technician (a 5% raise within 6-12 months based on individual performance.)Skills and Abilities
        • Ability to use hand tools, read/interpret instructions, and maintain written records.
        • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
        • Experience with soldering and testing equipment usage a plus.
        • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and PC based applications.
