AM Shift Parts Inventory Specialist

SUMMARY: Maintain accurate inventory of 2,000+ parts in various
parts rooms at the plant. Perform administrative tasks including
reconciling receipts with purchase orders, maintaining the physical
spare-parts inventory and keeping parts inventory information
up-to-date in computerized Maintenance Work Order system. May also
include kitting parts for Preventative Maintenance tasks.
Occasionally drive a company vehicle to pick up, load, and unload
various parts and equipment to help the Maintenance Department keep
the plant running.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited
to the following:
* Follow all company safety rules and practices.
* Maintain inventory organization and part rooms/warehouse
* Receive packages daily and stock in proper location or issue to
* Reconcile receipts with purchase order and enter into CMMS/ERP
system. Forward receipts to AP.
* Determine proper re-order points by observing usage and lead
times & set MRP guidelines.
* Conduct random and scheduled physical inventory.
* Adjusts ERP part information and quantities to match physical
* Package and ship parts to be repaired/refurbished.
* Work with the Buyer to adjust ordering quantities to meet
* Pull and issue parts as requested by technicians, record/adjust
* Pick up parts from local vendors as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma preferred. Clean
driving record required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must be able to fluently read, write and
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical applications to
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Must be able to solve
problems quickly and with good judgment.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use computer including
email, Microsoft Office Suite, and the company's computerized
maintenance management system.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee must be able to bend, squat and crawl while loading
and unloading Company vehicles.
The employee must be able to walk through the refrigerated Plant,
which ranges from Zero degrees Fahrenheit to 55 Degrees Fahrenheit,
in production areas and in the Ammonia Room, and other
maintenance-related areas, as needed including being able to ascend
and descend stairs.
The employee must also be able to walk around the Maintenance
Warehouse which ranges from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described
here are representative of those an employee encounters while
performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
exposed to the refrigerated conditions in the plant normally around
40 degrees Fahrenheit; however the employee may be exposed to 100
degree Fahrenheit temperatures when working near the ovens. The
employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor elements when picking
up and delivering parts. However, when walking through Production
Areas, and other areas of the plant, the employee is exposed to
wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. The employee will occasionally
work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally
exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, risk of
electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work
environment is usually quiet in an office environment; however, the
nose may occasionally be loud in production areas. The employee
will spend 80% percent of their working time working in the plant
and approximately 20% picking up and delivering parts.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Note: The hours and days of work are
established as needed by operations and at the discretion of
management and, while generally as shown below, may be changed
(increased or decreased) by management as required.
Hours of Work: Generally 8 or more hours per day, normally five
days per week including weekends.
Days of Work: Monday through or Friday or as scheduled by
