Marketing Technology Manager (B2B/ABM-Focus)

This role will have oversight of some of the most advanced Mar-Tech stacks around, including: (ABM) Account-Based Marketing (e.g., Terminus or Demandbase), CRM, and marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot), and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics and Adobe). The most important technology for this role will be the oversight and integration of ABM and CRM. This role will also require cross-departmental training to drive superb results through enterprise ABM. This role will also involve hands-on leadership on lead flow, lead scoring, and results tracking. This leader will have a proven and documented history of building and managing high-impact, high-ROI marketing and sales campaigns and solutions. This person should be comfortable doing hands-on technology configurations, enthusiastic analysis of key results, and presenting results to senior leaders across the organization. This is a fun and fast-paced role where this individual will be a big bridge between the marketing and sales organizations. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of B2B digital marketing, lead generation and scoring, CRM, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) workflows, and KPIs. This person must have an analytical and operational/technical skillset, and thrive in a fast-moving, rapidly-evolving organization. This person will be a Rockstar technical marketer, equally comfortable developing and communicating strategy to the C-Suite and getting their hands dirty executing sales and lead generation campaigns. They must also be enthusiastically results-driven where they are eager to check campaigns daily and share key learnings. This work is fun, highly engaging, and requires a very proactive approach to testing and learning the best techniques for each sub-segment of prospects. All knowledge of retail and e-commerce in retail services like automotive, home furnishings, appliances, and electronics are a big plus and should be highlighted during the application process

The Job

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of account-based marketing tools, teams, and related marketing automation
  • Driving media and creative content strategy for enterprise sales and account-based marketing
  • Engaging high-impact team internally and externally to develop new and ongoing message and ad testing to drive greater results
  • Work with Finance, Sales, and Analytics teams to establish targets that balance in-platform measurement with our internal attribution system
  • Establish tools and tricks to publish highly engaging B2B consumer content
  • Help develop linkage to Salesforce, Hubspot, and other key internal systems to ensure clear reporting and analytics for ABM efforts
  • Constantly be scouring the web for ABM best practices in technology and tools
  • Write detailed program and test briefs and evolve platform KPIs, attribution, and reporting, as learnings dictate
  • Assist with education and training of appropriate sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent use of B2B and ABM lead generation and sales tools.
  • Help build weekly reporting to track the success of campaigns from targeting through the first impression and into the full sales cycle
    • 6+ years of marketing technology experience
    • 4+ years of online/digital marketing experience
    • Hands-on experience with set-up, day-to-day management, and optimization of B2B lead generation, ABM, CRM, and marketing automation tools
    • A strong business acumen with the ability to think both analytically and strategically
    • A deep understanding of marketing levers in lead funnel and sales pipeline
    • Strong analytical capabilities able to dive into granular details and generate relevant insights
    • Experience working with engineering teams to implement marketing API integrations and placing conversion tags
    • Experience using business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms such as R Studio and Tableau to drive reporting and visualization of results
    • Ability to coach and mentor others on technology tools
    • Ability to deal with change with a passion for innovation and creative problem solving
    • Ability to quickly learn and become fluent in new technologies
    • BA/BS in Business, Technology, Engineering, Marketing or related field
