The Director Sales Development will lead a team of sales developers and Sales Development Managers. This position's primary responsibility will be to provide continuous coaching and team leadership to ensure the quantity and quality of sales leads produced by the team. This position will also work closely with Marketing to ensure accurate reporting and efficient processes

This position will also work closely with Marketing to ensure accurate reporting and efficient processes


As a Director Sales Development, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

  • Delivers quality leads to the sales organization and ensures daily call activity and lead production expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Daily sales training and coaching to insure lead development staff is utilizing proper technique and processes.
  • Critical, evolutionary thinking related to lead nurturing / generation.
  • Team oriented and managerial style geared toward preparing lead generators for advancement.
  • Follows up with field and inside personnel for leads generated.
  • Ensures leads are adequately qualified to insure a high probability of a sale, is ultimately measured on business closed as a result of leads generated.
  • Inspires lead development staff to pursue NICE CXOne career advancement.
  • Responsible for the tracking and reporting of leads via Salesforce.com and any other applicable methods.
  • Follow the company Code of Ethics and NICE CXOne policies and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of NICE CXOne.
  • Work closely with Marketing operations to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Coordinate with Finance and other managers to ensure teams' full capacity
  • Understand and administer ROEs within the teams training on updates as needed
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Leadership to coordinate resources to align with pipeline leads.
    To Land This Gig You'll Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience required.--
    • 12+ years of sales experience, five years of which in a lead or supervisory role
    • Experience in a technology company
    • 2+ years experience working with contact centers
    • Very strong analytical skills including advanced use of Excel
    • Very strong presentation skills including presentation creation PowerPoint
      Bonus Experience:
      • High technology sales experience preferred
      • Telephony background preferred
