Job Description Job Description Job Title: Account Manager Location: Salt Lake City, UT Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Range: $26.25 – $28.00 per hour (approximately $54,600 annually) Job Summary The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact, and building strong, long-term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in account management, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a customer-focused mindset committed to delivering exceptional client experiences. Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the main point of contact for all account-related matters Gain a thorough understanding of clients’ business objectives, challenges, and needs to deliver customized solutions Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, marketing, and product development—to align strategies that support client success and growth Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services Monitor account performance and key performance indicators (KPIs); analyze data and prepare regular reports to measure progress and identify improvement opportunities Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services and prompt resolution of client concerns Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, agreements, and transactions within CRM systems Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or sales, with demonstrated success Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities Ability to understand client needs and develop tailored business solutions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard business tools Industry-specific experience may be required depending on business needs (e.g., software, manufacturing, or technical sales) Physical & Work Environment Requirements Frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, stooping, twisting, and overhead reaching with repetitive motions Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Regular exposure to allergens, including milk, eggs, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans Regular use of office equipment such as computers, calculators, and copy machines Work performed in both office and laboratory environments Potential exposure to hazardous materials; adherence to safety protocols is required Occasional travel for conferences, fieldwork, or collaboration with other facilities
