Tenure-Track Faculty Position in the Department of Dermatology:
Allergy and Immunology Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or
Professor – Tenure Track (Rank dependent upon experience) The
Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah Spencer Fox
Eccles School of Medicine invites applications for a new
tenure-track faculty position at any academic rank. We seek
outstanding candidates pursuing innovative research in any area
relevant to dermatology, including but not limited to: Cutaneous
oncology, skin microbiome and host interactions, inflammatory skin
diseases, wound healing and tissue regeneration, genetic and rare
skin disorders, skin aging and photobiology, and artificial
intelligence and digital health in dermatology. Applicants should
demonstrate a strong record of scholarly achievement and extramural
funding appropriate to their career stage. The successful candidate
will be expected to develop and maintain a robust, independent
research program that complements and enhances existing
departmental and institutional strengths. The Department offers a
highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, with access
to state-of-the-art core facilities, clinical research
infrastructure, strong institutional support for translational and
team science, and the opportunity to collaborate with clinicians
and scientists in the Melanoma Center at the Huntsman Cancer
Institute. Opportunities for leadership roles within the department
may be available for qualified candidates. Candidates must hold a
PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree. Clinician-scientists are
strongly encouraged to apply. Faculty rank and compensation will be
commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position
