UniFirst Corporation, a leader in providing workplace uniforms and protective workwear in North America and Europe, is seeking a proactive and attentive First Aid Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic Supply Chain and Procurement team. This role focuses on ensuring that all safety standards and first aid requirements are met and exceeded across our distribution and service centers to maintain our reputation for safety and regulatory compliance. Implement and maintain first aid strategies and safety protocols across all company facilities Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure adherence to legal and company standards Coordinate with Procurement to ensure adequate first aid materials and safety equipment are available and up to date Lead emergency response teams and provide training on safety measures and first aid Report and review accidents and near-miss incidents, developing preventative measures based on findings Liaise between management and regulatory agencies to secure all necessary safety permits and ensure compliance with regional regulations Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all safety protocols and incidents for reporting and inspection purposes Strong knowledge of workplace safety and first aid procedures Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details Proficiency in data analysis and risk assessment Ability to train and lead cross-functional teams Strong communication skills for interfacing with various departments Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar First Aid and CPR certified
